enumeray model release init
Freeze a complete author declaration and assign one candidate identity.
Use when: The release is installed and its publication.json is complete, or you are adopting a retained candidate or creating a rollback.
Role and prerequisites: Model owner or current co-admin. Install enumeray, configure the API and log in. Use an account or delegated token with the required permissions. Example IDs must be replaced with IDs from your service.
Example
Section titled “Example”enumeray model release init example --file publication.json --directory release-r1# Fresh candidate from retained API settingsenumeray model release init example --rollback-from prior-publication --directory rollback-r1All initialization source modes require me:read, models:read and current model administration. --file allocates a fresh candidate from the local declaration; --rollback-from reads retained settings and allocates another candidate; --candidate adopts the exact existing publication. Initialization itself never discovers grants. Fresh registration on the later model release resume requires connectors:read to discover this account’s compute grant and models:manage to register. Adopting or inspecting a delegated candidate needs no grant inventory; review/activation requires models:manage and available server-reported release authority. Trials require separate run/artifact scopes. Permanent installation revocation blocks reuse. Credentials are not saved. Preserve incomplete evidence. Only an init-only interruption before state.json and before any registration/resume may explicitly initialize a new directory from the original author source (or release.json source.publication), creating a fresh unused ID. If resume may have run, recover/inspect the original candidate; missing files alone cannot prove non-registration. Generated machine publication.json inside the release directory is not an editable author input.
Inputs and options
Section titled “Inputs and options”| Input | Meaning and use |
|---|---|
<MODEL> |
Existing managed model ID. It must match model.id in a supplied author file. |
--directory <DIRECTORY> |
New private release directory; parent must exist. Existing destinations and symlinks are refused. |
--file <FILE> |
Complete editable publication.json. This initialization allocates one new candidate ID; it does not modify the source. Mutually exclusive with other sources. |
--rollback-from <ROLLBACK_FROM> |
Readable retained publication under this model. Creates a fresh candidate from its scientific/physical settings with current authorization and installation validation. |
--candidate <CANDIDATE> |
Adopt an existing publication into this account’s new release directory without registering a replacement or inheriting another account’s review. |
Every command also accepts the profile, API, JSON and timeout options.
Result and next step
Section titled “Result and next step”Saves an immutable source snapshot, normalized machine request and one generated candidate ID in a private API/account-bound directory. Reads authority/source records without registering or activating.
Resume the same directory after interruption. A new initialization explicitly requests a new candidate.
Exact syntax, defaults and accepted values
Freeze a locally validated candidate. Does not register or activate it
Usage: enumeray model release init [OPTIONS] --directory <DIRECTORY> <MODEL>
Arguments: <MODEL> Stable model ID from model list/get or supplied by its author
Options: --api <API> User API origin override; credentials never cross origins. Host/runner commands use explicit configuration --directory <DIRECTORY> New private release operation directory; freezes one exact candidate and its retry identities --file <FILE> Editable publication source; initialization freezes a fresh candidate --profile <PROFILE> Named local user API/login profile; host/runner commands use explicit configuration [default: default] --config <CONFIG> Private user profiles file; defaults to $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/enumeray/profiles.json or ~/.config/enumeray/profiles.json --rollback-from <ROLLBACK_FROM> Copy a retained publication's settings into a fresh authorized candidate --candidate <CANDIDATE> Adopt an existing publication into this account's private release operation --json Emit user API results as JSON (NDJSON for following logs) and runtime errors on stderr; host/runner output follows its own protocol --timeout <TIMEOUT> User API HTTP timeout in seconds; live logs use it for read inactivity.
