enumeray model transfer
Propose model ownership transfer to a named account.
Use when: Responsibility for publication and access governance is moving to another owner.
Role and prerequisites: Resource owner; co-admin status alone does not grant ownership changes. Install enumeray, configure the API and log in. Use an account or delegated token with the required permissions. Example IDs must be replaced with IDs from your service.
Example
Section titled “Example”enumeray model transfer scalar-double --to 11111111-1111-4111-8111-111111111111 --generation 1Resource names and UUIDs below are examples. Replace them with IDs returned by your service; --generation 1 is valid only if the latest response reports generation 1.
Inputs and options
Section titled “Inputs and options”| Input | Meaning and use |
|---|---|
<ID> |
Model ID you own. |
--to <TO> |
UUID of the proposed new owner. The target must separately accept the returned ownership-transfer ID before ownership changes. |
--generation <GENERATION> |
Observed resource generation from the relevant get, members, policy or limits response. This is an optimistic concurrency check, not a release number. Read again after a conflict; do not blindly increment it. |
Every command also accepts the profile, API, JSON and timeout options.
Result and next step
Section titled “Result and next step”Creates an expiring transfer proposal. Ownership changes only after the named recipient accepts while the generation still matches.
Give the transfer ID to the intended recipient for model accept-transfer.
