Put logs
Persist one bounded batch, including after the scientific terminal result until durable delivery settlement. Settlement fences fresh batches while preserving verified historical replay. Save source epoch, sequence and exact body before sending. Start at epoch 1/sequence 1; continue the sequence or begin the next epoch at sequence 1. A replacement epoch produces an explicit source_reset discontinuity. Identical retries within the last 64 batches per source replay the original receipt even after payload retention; older consumed identities return log_retry_too_old and cannot insert payloads. Ingestion does not advance execution progress or release capacity.
Authorizations
Section titled “Authorizations”Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”Path Parameters
Section titled “Path Parameters”Header Parameters
Section titled “Header Parameters”Required active session owning the assignment journal.
Request Bodyrequired
Section titled “Request Bodyrequired”Strict JSON object, at most 64 KiB or the configured limit. offset and byte_length measure raw source bytes; decoded text length never advances source progress. Text is at most 8192 UTF-8 bytes and excludes NUL. A positive gap count explains bytes omitted before offset; null counts require a reset/unavailable marker starting an epoch. Empty text requires a gap. stdout, stderr, connector, automatic slurm_batch and declared model.
object
Source bytes consumed by text, independent of replacement UTF-8 length.
Start of text, after any omitted bytes, in this epoch.

Headers
Section titled “Headers”No-store
Always present. A fresh server-generated UUID for this request; incoming IDs are ignored. On errors, this equals the response body’s request_id.
Invalid path, query or session header.
The common JSON body for errors returned by the HTTP application.
object
Stable machine-readable error code.
Bounded corrections for authorized scientific-schema failures only. Absent on other failures. The complete validation error body is <=4608 bytes.
object
More violations exist than fit in this response.
At most eight violations, in validator traversal order.
A schema failure without submitted values or arbitrary property names.
object
Fixed guidance; actual bounds and allowed values remain in the publication schema.
JSON Pointer relative to inputs; the empty string denotes its root.
Only ordinary, explicitly declared property names and array indices appear.
Example
/valueThe position stops at a safe ancestor instead of naming the exact field.
Stable categories independent of the validator’s free-form diagnostics.
Safe explanation without internal errors or submitted input values.
Matches the response’s x-request-id header.

Log_conflict, log_sequence_conflict, log_retry_too_old, invalid_transition after delivery settlement, attempt_conflict, journal_conflict, or session_required. Too-old identities are consumed, but their exact content can no longer be verified; never resend them under fresh identities.
